Sleeping Dog Ranch has holding pens and a round pen for your horse and offers 300,000 acres of public lands with incredible picturesque beauty right outside the gate. With a moderate year-round climate this RV campground in Arizona is an ideal location for your next retreat with or without your horse.
Rich in geological and cultural history, the area surrounding Sleeping Dog Ranch offers many miles of 4x4 and hiking trails, old mines, old west town of Tombstone, historical city of Bisbee with many art galleries and antique stores, Old Spanish missions, hours of exploration and sightseeing. Fishing at Patagonia or Parker Canyon lakes, miles of hiking trails, this is a world famous birding area, explore the ghost town of Kentucky Camp; take a drive through scenic San Rafael Valley, or sample wines at the 15+ local wineries. Located in Sonoita, AZ
We are a 25-acre former horse ranch located in the Santa Rita Mountains near Sonoita, AZ. We are 15-20 degrees cooler than nearby Tucson. Summer temps are in 70s-80s. Winter daytime temps in 50s-60s.The ranch is home to friendly goats, chickens, dogs and cats who love visitors. We are surrounded by public land with roads and trails for gravel biking, mountain biking, hiking and off-road vehicles directly from ranch. Horses and dogs are welcome. Horse holding pens and fenced in pastures are available. This is a ride out location, no trailering needed.
